Lordship Africa, is planning a new residential development dabbed Central Park to be established on 23 Acres of land as a mixed use project providing a new self-contained modern & eco-friendly residential quarter for the city.

The development will incorporate community service areas, leisure, retail, educational, medical and sport facilities and a 3-star hotel with banqueting.

The dramatic new Central Park apartments will be situated at one of the City’s prime locations with easy access to great planned public transportation. The development is master planned to international standards, with an engaging design, stunning views and abundant open space mixed with recreational facilities and retail space.

Located on the 23 acres, Central Park will occupy a favourable position adjacent to the racecourse and direct access to Jamhuri Park, with numerous excellent schools nearby. The location’s proximity to the shopping and entertainment districts of The Junction, Lavington and Karen will also add to its allure.

The developments will afford a panoramic view of the Nairobi National Park, Ngong Hills, Ngong Forest and the city centre. The planning is intended to incorporate tree-lined boulevards and squares which make a vibrant connection between the, restaurants, shops, schools and excellent variety of recreational facilities.

Located just 100m from the Junction Shopping Mall, and adjacent to the Kenya Meteorological Department Headquarters, the site will greatly benefit from the ongoing dualling of Ngong Road.

The First Phase of the project, located on site 2 near Nairobi Chapel will comprise of 1,500 apartments, a 120 room 3-star hotel, a 700 person banqueting hall, restaurants, shops, cafes, and a kindergarten. The Second Phase on site 1(near meteorological department) will comprise of 2,000 housing units, education, sports, police & fire station.

The floor plans indicate the apartments will consist of studios with a floor area of 27sqm, One Bedrooms of 45 sqm, Two Bedrooms of 60 sqm and Three Bedrooms of 100sqm.

Lordship Africa is the company behind 88 Nairobi condominiums and is one of the eight firms which have been shortlisted by Nairobi County to undertake the Affordable Housing projects. The scale of the projects suggests that it could be part of the affordable housing, however this is not yet clear.

The project is owned and developed by Lordship Africa who intend to complete the development by 2020.
