Nairobi’s Garden City Mall has welcomed over 8 Million customers since opening its doors in Sept 2015 despite stiff competition from new and upcoming malls in the city.

The management of the 35,000 square metre mall recently told Estate Cloud that they have been able to attract approximately 400,000 visitors a month which translates to about 13,300 visitors a day.

Ruth Wako, Marketing Manager at Garden City Mall says “Over our 2 years, we are proud that the mall is a part of the heart and soul of the community; a key driver of the retail economy and a social sanctuary. As we continue to grow both in terms of our identity and our offering, we are confident that mall is well on its way to becoming a destination mall for all of Kenya, the region and beyond.”

Garden City Mall is considered as East Africa’s second biggest mall after Two Rivers Mall. The mall is home to over 100 stores, offering a wide selection of international and best loved Kenyan brands. It is anchored by the first GAME store in Kenya as well as being home to East Africa’s largest cinema – Century IMAX.
