Singaporean developer Singapura Developers Private Limited in partnership with Habitat Housing Co-Operative Society, are planning a mega housing development in Lukenya, Mavoko Sub-county.
The proposed development will have a total of 8,828 housing units of various sizes. These include 577 studio apartments, 972 one-bedroom units, 2912 two-bedrooms and 4368 three-bedrooms. According to information from the firm the three-bedroom houses will go for KSh. 5.8 million, two-bedrooms for KSh. 4.8 million while one-bedrooms will cost KSh.3.5 million.
The mixed-use development will comprise 26 blocks of 16-storey apartments, 2 blocks of 20-storey apartments and 2 blocks of strata-landed club houses with 60 commercial shops at the ground floor of the 20-storey buildings, and 1 basement car park at every block apart from the clubhouse.
Features include Shops & Cafes, 2 Club houses, 24hrs full service gym, study areas, meeting rooms, Olympic size swimming pool, Astro turf football Pitch, rugby pitch, basketball courts, tennis courts, gardens with foot path & ponds, children’s playground, outdoor elderly fitness area, jogging tracks,picnic area etc.
The gated community will also have top range facilities including intercom & card access, parking space, designated drop-off points, disability access, High speed elevators, designated fire lifts, integrated solar heating for hot water supply, adequate water storage units, satellite TV & fiber optic infrastructures, car wash facilities, garbage management system and smart city maintenance system among others.
Detailed plans show the development will have 4974 underground parking-bays and 2532 open parking lots in the development, a total of 7506. The project will be set on 77.75 acres of land with a 99-year leasehold.
The project is set for completion in July 2024. Singapura is a subsidiary of AFRA Holdings Pte Ltd which has completed over 1500 projects.
