The Big 5 Construct East Africa, the official exhibition of the Kenya National Construction Week, returns to Kenyatta International Convention Centre, Kenya this week, from 7th to 9th of November 2018.

The annual event which takes place at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre is organized by dmg events Middle East, Asia & Africa. Apart from exhibitions, the expo will also host pioneers from across various sectors in the industry to present over 40 free-to-attend CPD (continuing professional development) certified education sessions.

Discussions will cover popular topics under current themes around Affordable Housing, Technology and Design in Building Construction, Project Management and Engineering, Sustainability in Construction and a dedicated series for Women in Construction and demolition.

The Big 5 event will take place alongside the Construction Research Conference and Exhibition (CoRCE) organised by National Construction Authority, and returns after an impressive 6,355 visitors from 40 countries, and 188 exhibiting brands arrived at its inaugural opening in 2016.

“Our partnership with the Big 5 Construct East Africa on the Construction Research Conference and Exhibition (CoRCE) has so far yielded boundless results by expanding the Conference’s territories and placing the Kenyan construction industry on the map globally,” Dr Daniel Maduku, Executive Director, National Construction Authority.

More than 200 brands from around the world are expected to exhibit at the largest construction event East Africa which will include a dedicated VIP program for key buyers, business matchmaking, and live product demonstrations.

The event offers a platform to meet key industry players from across east Africa. Kenya’s Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development has endorsed the event.
